Fund Formation Attorney

About the role

We are working with a prestigious international law firm that is actively seeking a mid-level Fund Formation Attorney to join its growing team in Silicon Valley.

Responsibilities

• Advise on private investment fund matters, including formation, regulatory, and operational aspects
• Represent both fund sponsors and institutional investors in a variety of fund formation transactions
• Have direct experience with sponsor-level structuring and secondary transactions involving LP and portfolio company interests

Requirements

• 3–5 years of fund formation experience at a national or international law firm
• Strong background in private investment fund transactions, including formation, regulatory, and operational matters
• Experience with general partner/management company arrangements and secondary transactions
• Excellent academic credentials from a top-tier law school
• Admitted to practice in California or eligible for admission

Qualifications

• Competitive compensation package ($260,000 – $365,000 based on experience and location)

Schedule

Pay

$260,000 – $365,000, based on experience and location.
