About the role

Brown Brothers Harriman is recruiting a Fund Administration Supervisor to join their Fund Administration Team. This role involves dual responsibilities for Financial Reporting and Expense Administration.

Responsibilities

  • Review and/or prepare annual, semi-annual and quarterly financial statements and regulatory filings for registered and non-registered investment companies.
  • Aid in problem-solving and issue resolution; utilize best judgment to escalate issues to senior managers as necessary.
  • Maintain a working familiarity with applicable laws, regulations, and interpretations of governing financial statements and disclosures, including the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Internal Revenue Code, GAAP, IFRS, Regulation S-X, and other applicable requirements.
  • Aid in fund audits with all applicable internal and external parties.
  • Communicate appropriately with the Fund Reporting Manager regarding all timetables and workflow, and communicate relevant matters to other department members within BBH.
  • Perform special projects as directed by the Financial Reporting Manager.
  • Maintain knowledge related to regulatory changes affecting funds.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in audit, financial reporting, or finance-related areas.
  • Prior experience in managing a team or project is preferred.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, continuously seeking learning opportunities and striving to develop professional knowledge.
  • Strong numerical ability and analytical skills.
  • Pro-active, mature, and able to work according to the agreed timeline.

Qualifications

  • Desired degree in finance or accounting related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literate with Excel and Word skills.

Skills

  • Proficiency in financial reporting and auditing.
  • Ability to manage and oversee expense administration processes.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Benefits

Salary range: MA: 65,000 - $90,000. + Annual Target Bonus. BBH and its affiliates' compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role.
