About the role

Partner with finance, operations, and technology teams to improve private markets accounting and reporting processes. Analyze and optimize workflows related to NAVs, capital activity, reconciliations, and investor reporting. Translate business needs into requirements, user stories, and functional specifications for system enhancements. Drive automation, data quality improvements, controls, and reporting efficiency across platforms and administrators. Apply private equity/debt fund finance expertise and technical skills (Excel, SQL, Python) to deliver scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee fund accounting activities within the banking and financial services sector
• Improve private markets accounting and reporting processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Analyze and optimize workflows for NAVs, capital activity, reconciliations, and investor reporting
• Translate business needs into requirements, user stories, and functional specifications
• Drive automation, data quality improvements, controls, and reporting efficiency

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in finance/business analysis in private markets
• Strong knowledge of private markets fund accounting, including NAVs, capital calls, distributions, fees, carried interest, and investor reporting
• Experience implementing or enhancing fund accounting and portfolio management platforms such as Allvue, Investran, Geneva, or Yardi
• Advanced technical skills in Excel, with SQL and Python strongly preferred
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx is a plus
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate across finance, operations, and technology teams
