Fund Accounting Analyst

Location: New York, NY

Employment type: Permanent (Contingency)

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year + bonus

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

• Support fund accounting, general ledger activities, reconciliations, and financial close processes.
• Prepare financial statements, accounting schedules, and supporting financial information.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and support recurring accounting and reporting activities.
• Analyze financial activity, expenses, account balances, and related accounting information.
• Prepare financial information and documentation to support audit and tax requirements.
• Support accounting controls, reporting improvements, systems initiatives, and process enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or progress toward CPA licensure preferred).
• 2+ years of public accounting, fund accounting, investment accounting, or related financial services experience.
• Experience with financial reporting, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial close processes; investment management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience using accounting or financial reporting systems.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, communication, organizational, attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
