Fund Accountant (multiple levels)

This role has multiple levels, open to candidates with 1 year minimum experience. The successful candidate will be hired for the level that aligns with their experience. The salary range provided corresponds to the lowest level of the position posted.

About the role

U.S. Bank Global Fund Services is seeking a Fund Accountant to support our Fund Accounting team. As a Fund Accountant, you will be part of a team responsible for maintaining the general ledger and records of mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, local government investment pools, and closed-end funds of varying complexity, and producing end-of-day net asset value calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily general ledger accounting
• Perform prime broker/bank cash reconciliations
• Process advisor/portfolio management activities
• Apply corporate actions
• Post expense accruals and payments
• Determine daily net asset value and mill rate
• Conduct portfolio pricing analysis and validations
• Ensure timely internal and external information distributions
• Perform portfolio reconciliations
• Partner with internal and external administrators, transfer agencies, and prime brokers/custodians to collaborate on compliance, audit, and financials
• Ensure all Fund Accounting functions comply with SEC regulations and GAAP principles

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
• One to two years of experience in accounting or finance activities
• Thorough knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysis
• Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and analyze data
• Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
• This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three or more days per week

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Central time. Once fully trained, based on your hub assignment, your scheduled shift may change to 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Central time.

Location

3 or more days in the Tempe, AZ or Milwaukee, WI locations.

Pay

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay Range: $60,435.00 - $71,100.00.
