Fund Accountant (multiple levels)

U.S. Bank Global Fund Services is seeking a Fund Accountant to join the Fund Accounting team in Tempe, AZ or Milwaukee, WI (three or more days on‑site). The role maintains the general ledger and records of mutual funds, exchange‑traded funds, local government investment pools and closed‑end funds of varying complexity, produces end‑of‑day net asset value calculations, and ensures compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily general ledger accounting
• Perform prime broker/bank cash reconciliations
• Conduct advisor/portfolio management processing
• Apply corporate actions
• Post expense accruals and payments
• Determine daily net asset value and mill rates
• Perform portfolio pricing analysis and validation
• Distribute timely internal and external information
• Conduct portfolio reconciliations
• Partner with internal/external administrators, transfer agencies, and prime brokers/custodians on compliance, audit, and financials
• Ensure all Fund Accounting functions comply with SEC regulations and GAAP principles

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
• One to two years of experience in accounting or finance activities
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysis
• Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data

Skills

• Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
