Fund Accountant I - Alternative Investment

About the role

The Alternative Investments Team provides accounting, pricing, and reconciliation services for our alternative investment fund clients. This group is a growing team that continues to add to our client portfolio. With additional clients and the evolution of client needs comes the opportunity to grow our knowledge base and expand our technological capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate Excel and UMB accounting systems to perform general ledger accounting functions, enter trade information, price securities, and reconcile accounts.
• Ensure data accuracy and prepare client financial statements and reports to share with investors.
• Interact with clients to address any requests as well as handling correspondence to the client investor base.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Investment Banking, Economics, or International Business.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and UMB accounting systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Accounting principles and practices.
• Financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Client relationship management.

Pay

Compensation Range: $40,950.00 - $68,250.00
