Job Responsibilities
- Generate and review quarterly partnership financial statements and partner capital statements.
- Prepare timely and accurately work papers, capital call and distribution notices, calculate carried interest, allocate profits and losses in accordance with governing documents.
- Aid in the monitoring of fund performance, tracking cash flows, and preparing investor reports.
- Respond timely and accurately to investor inquiries.
- Analyze partnership and investment documents and properly set up investment structures and subsidiaries.
- Provide support for the external audit function during the quarterly review and year-end audit.
- Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
- Perform other accounting duties and investor services duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a private equity fund accounting position.
- Experience with partnership accounting and partnership tax rules.
- Solid comprehension of GAAP, ASC 946, the Investment Company Act of 1940 and experience with accounting and reporting for private equity partnerships.
- Experience with investor reporting and CRM practices.
- Intermediate MS Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems.
