Functional QA Lead (EDI Testing) - Only W2

Job Summary

We are seeking a Functional QA Lead with strong experience in functional testing and EDI/B2B integrations. The candidate will lead QA activities, define test strategies, manage test execution, and ensure high-quality delivery of enterprise applications involving EDI transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional QA activities across projects.
• Review requirements and prepare test strategy, test plans, and test cases.
• Execute and oversee functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
• Validate EDI transactions (ANSI X12/EDIFACT) and end-to-end business workflows.
• Knowledge of transactions such as: 850 Purchase Order, 855 Purchase Order Acknowledgment, 856 Advance Ship Notice, 810 Invoice, 820 Payment Order, 846 Inventory Inquiry, 940 Warehouse Shipping Order, 945 Warehouse Shipping Advice, 997 Functional Acknowledgment
• Perform API and database validation using SQL and Postman.
• Manage defect lifecycle, QA metrics, and release readiness.

Required Skills

• Functional QA leadership (8+ years)

• API testing (REST/SOAP), SQL

• Agile/Scrum methodology
