About the role
The Functional Family Therapist is responsible for providing therapy sessions to families in need, focusing on improving communication and resolving conflicts within the family unit.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and family therapy sessions
- Assess family dynamics and provide appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Document progress and maintain client records
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Valid state license to practice therapy
- Experience working with families in a therapeutic setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Strong theoretical knowledge of family systems theory
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
