    About the role

    We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD) to join our growing outpatient therapy team at Ellie Mental Health in Palatine.

    Please DO NOT apply for this role if you do not have your FULL clinical license current in the state of Illinois as listed above.

    Important: Some job boards may list this role as remote. While we offer hybrid flexibility based on client needs, this role is primarily in person at our Palatine office. Clinicians should expect to work at least 70 percent of their time in the office.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct diagnostic assessments and establish appropriate diagnoses
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with clients
    • Provide high-quality therapy sessions that support client goals
    • Complete documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, according to clinical standards
    • Maintain a caseload of approximately 25 client sessions per week for full-time clinicians
    • Collaborate with families, schools, medical providers, and care teams when appropriate
    • Participate in clinical meetings, consultations, and training opportunities
    • Contribute to the positive and supportive culture of the clinic

    Requirements

    • Hold an active clinical license in Illinois (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD)
    • Reside in the state of Illinois
    • Be comfortable working primarily in person at our Palatine clinic

    Qualifications

    • Master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or related behavioral health field
    • Active clinical licensure in Illinois (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD)
    • Must reside in Illinois
    • Experience completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Able to maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients
    • Able to complete documentation in a timely manner
    • Experience using Electronic Health Record systems and Office 365 (Valant experience is a plus)
