Fully Credentialed School Bus CDL Drivers (Grass Valley, CA)

Pay
- $22.60/Hour - $28.18/Hour (Based on experience)
- $5,000 Retention bonus for pre-certified drivers: $2,500 after 90 days, $2,500 after 180 days of employment
- Guaranteed Hours: 25 hours per week
Requirements
- Current CDL with both the P (Passenger) and S (School Bus) endorsements
- Valid school bus certificate
- CPR certificate
- Possession of T01 training documents
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (held for at least 3 years; 5 years if applying in Tennessee)
- STAR on your license
- Minimum age: 21 (25 in Tennessee)
- If you’ve held a DOT-regulated driving role in the past 3 years, employment must be verifiable per DOT guidelines
- Pass DOT drug screen, physical, and background check
- Compliance with DOT regulations (marijuana prohibited, even for medical use)
- Reliable attendance & safety-first attitude
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a school bus on assigned local routes
- Transport students to and from school, sports, and events
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain a clean, safe bus environment
- Communicate courteously with students, parents, and school staff
- Follow all federal, state, local, and company safety rules
