Full Time Youth Soccer Coach
About the role
Soccer Shots is the nation's premier children's soccer enrichment program for children ages 2–8. We partner with preschools, childcare centers, private schools, churches, parks, and recreation departments throughout Acadiana to provide engaging, age-appropriate soccer experiences that build confidence, character, and a love for physical activity.
Why This Position Is Different
Most youth coaching jobs only pay you when you coach. At Soccer Shots, we believe dependable coaches deserve dependable pay. Our Head Coaches receive a predictable annual salary, paid every two weeks, regardless of how many sessions are scheduled that particular week. During our busiest seasons, you'll coach approximately 20–25 sessions per week while working around 30 hours per week. During our year-round subscription programming, you'll typically coach 10–12 sessions per week, resulting in approximately 12–15 hours of work each week, while continuing to receive the same bi-weekly paycheck. Qualifications
- Experience working with young children is preferred but not required
- Soccer experience is helpful but not required—we'll teach you our curriculum
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Able to pass a background check
- Able to work independently throughout the Lafayette area
