Full-Time X-Ray Technician (Float)
Bethany Medical, the largest independent, established multi-specialty group in Central North Carolina, is seeking a full-time X-Ray Technician to join our team across multiple locations including High Point, Winston-Salem, Kernersville, Jamestown, Greensboro, Mt. Airy, and North Wilkesboro.
About the role
Work closely with our providers and patients to ensure quality patient care and satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Bethany Medical operates 7 days a week with 13 convenient locations and 16 practices, offering onsite urgent care, primary care, diagnostic testing, outpatient ancillary, and specialty care services.
Responsibilities
- Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
- Prepare equipment for use as needed
- Prepare examination space for patient exams
- Position patients for imaging exams
- Monitor patients during exams
- Ensure the safety of patients during exams
- Provide customer service in a detail-oriented manner
- Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Establish and maintain working relationships with management, staff, and patients
- Retain information and pay attention to detail
- Perform excellent documentation; experience with Allscripts Pro Suite is a plus
Requirements
- Certificate of completion from a radiography tech-accredited program (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience in Family Practice, Neurology, Pain Management, and Internal Medicine is preferred, but X-Ray Students are encouraged to apply
