Responsibilities

• Assisting with exams, treatments, diagnostics, dental procedures, and surgery
• Safely restraining and comforting patients
• Gathering patient histories and maintaining accurate medical records
• Administering medications, SQ fluids, and treatments as directed and permitted by credentialing
• Supporting in-house lab work and diagnostic imaging
• Performing venipuncture and catheter placement, calculating drug dosages and fluid rates, monitoring anesthesia, and overseeing patient recovery
• Education clients on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked hospital environment
• Collaborating across exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgery to ensure smooth patient flow

What We're Looking For

• Veterinary Assistant: High school diploma or equivalent; Veterinary experience preferred but not required (CVA a plus)
• Registered Veterinary Technician: Graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program; Current Missouri registration/licensure
