Full-Time Universal Banker

Role Overview: This position involves providing sales, customer service, and operational support within a financial institution. Key Responsibilities Assist clients through teller transactions such as deposits, currency handling, and check cashing, while minimizing wait times.Open and process deposit accounts, including checking, savings, IRAs, certificates of deposit, and money market accounts.Identify client needs via consultative conversations and recommend suitable products and services.Cross-sell and refer clients to bank partners to grow business and strengthen relationships.Support loan application processes for personal and retail needs, ensuring proper handoff to specialists.Conduct outbound calls to clients and prospects, participate in campaigns, and respond to account inquiries.Assist bank staff with daily operations, audit controls, and training new associates.Maintain compliance with regulations, policies, and internal controls, and stay informed of operational updates.Enhance personal knowledge through training and web-based learning, and support operational efficiency.Ensure excellent client experiences, resolve issues promptly, and deliver high-quality service. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED; 1+ year experience as a Teller preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment, including 10-key calculator and coin counter.Strong communication, problem-solving, and client relationship skills.Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with relevant education and experience. Additional Requirements: Must pass a background credit check and comply with S.A.F.E Mortgage Licensing Act regulations. Supervisory Responsibilities: None required.
