Role Overview: A Travel CT Tech operates CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, preparing and positioning patients, following imaging protocols, and collaborating with radiologists to ensure high-quality results. They maintain equipment, document procedures, and adhere to safety standards to minimize radiation exposure while providing compassionate patient care. Key Responsibilities Operate CT equipment to capture detailed images of bones, organs, and tissuesPrepare and position patients, explaining procedures and ensuring safetySet technical parameters for accurate imagingAssist radiologists with image interpretationPerform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshootingMaintain accurate patient records and documentationCollaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnosticsFollow safety protocols to ensure safety of patients and staffAdapt to various CT protocols and equipment Qualifications & Skills One year of recent CT technologist experienceValid Radiology license per state regulationsCurrent BLS certificationPreferred: ARRT certificationCritical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skillsProficiency in PC skills and ability to follow instructionsPhysical ability to handle equipment and assist patientsEffective teamwork and professionalismCapacity to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
