Full-Time Travel CT Technologist

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images of patients' bodies
• Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and ensuring safety
• Follow imaging protocols and work closely with radiologists for accurate diagnosis
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and document patient information and imaging details
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and adapt to different protocols as needed
• Provide compassionate patient care throughout imaging processes

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum one year recent experience as a CT Technologist
• Valid radiology license and current BLS certification
• Preferred ARRT certification; additional licenses may be required
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in reading instructions, PC skills, and adapting to various equipment
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients, with visual acuity and motor skills
• Capacity to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively
