Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images of patients' bodies
- Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and ensuring safety
- Follow imaging protocols and work closely with radiologists for accurate diagnosis
- Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and document patient information and imaging details
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and adapt to different protocols as needed
- Provide compassionate patient care throughout imaging processes
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum one year recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid radiology license and current BLS certification
- Preferred ARRT certification; additional licenses may be required
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in reading instructions, PC skills, and adapting to various equipment
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients, with visual acuity and motor skills
- Capacity to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively
