Qualifications

  • Long-term interest in economics-related research
  • Prior background in environmental/energy economics is not necessary
  • Strong technical background with programming and data skills
  • Ability to work independently and attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of economic principles
  • Groups under-represented in economics encouraged
  • A BA/BS in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer/Data Science or other related disciplines required
  • Previous experience as a research analyst or pursuing independent research preferred
  • Access to confidential Census data requires being a U.S. citizen or having resided in the U.S. for the last three years
