Full Time Teller Position

About the Role

Alliance Bank Central Texas is hiring a full-time Teller for our Georgetown, Texas location. This role supports smooth, accurate banking service by helping customers complete everyday transactions while keeping work balanced and compliant.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, and transfers
• Post loan payments, money orders, and GL tickets
• Support night depository and vault reconciliation
• Balance Teller activity daily
• Assist with other finance-related tasks as assigned

Requirements

• At least 6 months of cash handling experience
• Basic computer skills
• Friendly, outgoing customer approach
• Basic math skills
• Must be able to prove work authorization for the United States
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check
• Subject to periodic drug testing

Schedule

Monday-Friday, onsite.

Pay

Up to $16 per hour to start.

Your Typical Shift

You'll start by preparing your Teller station, reviewing any updates, and getting ready for the lobby to open. Throughout the day, you'll greet customers, stay attentive to detail, and keep transactions moving at a steady pace while working with teammates when questions come up. Expect a mix of busy stretches and quieter moments to double-check totals, keep your workspace organized, and ensure records are in order. You'll wrap up by closing out your drawer, confirming your numbers, and handing off any notes so the next day in banking and finance starts smoothly.
