Full-Time Teller

About the role
The Full Time Teller (non-exempt, Grade 4) assists members by handling financial transactions, resolving problems, and educating them on MidSouth’s products and services. Responsibilities include processing transactions, selling monetary instruments, and promoting the features and benefits of credit union offerings.
Responsibilities
- Process financial transactions with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Resolve member problems and answer questions about MidSouth’s products and services.
- Sell monetary instruments and educate members on product features and benefits.
- Balance priorities while maintaining professionalism and courtesy.
Requirements
- Six months to one year of similar or related experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of cash handling experience (preferred).
- High school education or GED.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including courtesy, tact, and diplomacy.
- Adaptability to change and ability to complete tasks from start to finish.
Schedule
Full-time role, typically 40 hours per week. Includes a Saturday morning rotation (9 AM to 12 PM) approximately once per branch schedule, with a corresponding half-day off during the prior week.
Pay
Starting pay: $15.00 - $17.04 per hour.
