Responsibilities
- Greet all bank customers as they enter the branch in a courteous and professional manner.
- Operate a teller window to process transactions within established guidelines, including:
- Individual and commercial deposits
- Savings and checking transactions
- Cash advances
- Loan payments
- Credit card payments
- Enter customers' transactions into the computer to record them and issue receipts.
- Assist customers with questions regarding their accounts; place holds on accounts as appropriate.
- Order daily supply of cash and count incoming cash; balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer.
- Provide courteous, efficient service and develop new business by acquainting non-customers with bank services and presenting current customers with additional services.
- Identify and respond to cross-sale opportunities by referring customers to the appropriate bank personnel.
- Record customer interactions in the bank's CRM platform.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Six months to one year of related experience and/or training in cash handling or customer service.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly (both written and verbally).
- Basic mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to sell products and services.
- Ability to accurately handle large sums of cash.
- Goal-oriented with the ability to achieve individual and team goals.
- Flexibility to adapt in an ever-changing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and ability to quickly learn other bank-related software.
Physical Demands
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Pay
$16.00 per hour. The estimated hiring range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, and qualifications.
