Full-Time Teller

Join our team as a Teller and handle all types of transactions to serve credit union members in their financial matters. This role involves processing deposits, withdrawals, inquiries, check cashing, and more in a fast, friendly, and accurate manner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain individual cash box.
• Perform computer transactions for members according to procedures in the Teller manual.
• Provide members with information on interest rates, savings accounts, certificates, and other credit union services.
• Recognize and greet each member courteously.
• Promote and compare credit union services with other financial institutions.
• Handle complex member accounts accurately.
• Open new accounts and process payroll deductions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable statutes and regulations, including BSA.
• Perform all other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cash-handling or teller experience preferred.
• Ability to type and efficiently operate a PC and calculator.
• Strong capacity to learn and apply knowledge of credit union services, including cash policy, loan policy, security program, and certificate program.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) applicants strongly encouraged to apply.

Schedule

Candidates must be available Monday–Thursday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m.–6 p.m.
