Essential Functions
- Aid customers in person, by phone, or online by following the Serve Like Family Playbook to meet or exceed Bank standards.
- Evaluate documents for proper signatures and endorsements. Confirm details like dates, bank names, identification, and document legality.
- Cash checks and disburse money upon verifying numerical amounts match and account balances are sufficient.
- Receive and verify deposits of checks and cash, and ensure accuracy of deposit slips.
- Enter customer transactions into computers to log activities and generate receipts.
- Handle loan payments, confirm amounts and loan statuses, and calculate payoff amounts if needed.
- Balance cash, coins, and checks at the end of each business day and reconcile daily transactions using computers, calculators, or adding machines.
- Count currency, coins, and checks manually or using a counting machine.
- Order cash supplies to meet daily operational needs.
- Create and submit necessary paperwork for various bank products like cashier's checks, money orders, travelers' checks, and gift cards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Typically requires 1-2 years of related work experience and the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Maintain a valid Driver’s License.
