About the role

Tellers serve as the front-line staff at Commonwealth Credit Union branches, interacting directly with members to address their financial needs.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently processing financial transactions for share and loan accounts of CCU members.
• Maintaining acceptable cash and negotiable balancing standards.
• Examining checks for endorsements and other relevant features.
• Fulfilling internal controls to safeguard credit union funds and assets.
• Organizing work and keeping accurate records.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of credit union products and services to support sales efforts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for those who drive).

Pay

The salary range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Shifts may vary, including weekends and evenings, with a typical schedule of 8 hours per day.
