Full-time Teller

About the role

Our Tellers serve as our front-line staff, working with our members to meet their financial needs. They greet members as they enter the branch, process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and a variety of other tasks while consistently providing quality member service. Tellers accurately and efficiently perform financial transactions affecting the accounts or loans of Commonwealth Credit Union (CCU) members, maintain acceptable cash and negotiable balancing standards, and follow internal controls to safeguard credit union funds and assets. They also maintain knowledge of credit union products and services to confidently support sales efforts.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently perform financial transactions affecting the share accounts or loan accounts of CCU members.
• Maintain acceptable cash and negotiable balancing standards.
• Examine checks for endorsements and other features.
• Follow internal controls to safeguard credit union funds and assets.
• Organize work and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain knowledge of credit union products and services to confidently support credit union sales efforts.
