Full-Time Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Newark, DE on a full-time basis for the school year (with a potential Summer option).

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans
• Provide individualized assistance to students
• Regularly communicate about student progress as needed
• Maintain accurate attendance and session reports
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success
• Work in a fast-paced behavioral health facility
• Teach adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting

Requirements

• B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
• Delaware teaching license
• Comfortable working with K-12th grade students
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
• Reliable Transportation
