Full Time Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in West Chester, OH on a full-time basis starting this school year. This unique position involves working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to child and adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

Most of our class sizes range from 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans
• Provide individualized assistance to students
• Regularly communicate about student progress as needed
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate attendance and session reports

Requirements

• B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
• Active Ohio teaching license required; substitute licenses will not be considered
• Comfortable working with K–12th grade students
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
• Reliable transportation

Schedule

40-hour work week, Monday–Friday, with two possible shifts:

• 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
