Full-Time Supervisor, Beyond Yoga NYC Pop Up

About the Role

Temporary full‑time supervisor for the Beyond Yoga NYC pop‑up store, running from August to January. Reports to the Store Manager and is accountable for driving process adoption, opening and closing the store as manager on duty, and supporting resolution of customer concerns.

Responsibilities

• Manage cash handling and merchandise operations, including shipment processing, floor set, markdowns, and replenishment.
• Support resolution of customer concerns and partner with Store Manager or ASM on elevated issues.
• Supervise and coach the team on selling culture and customer connection to ensure high service and sales standards.
• Act as manager on duty in the absence of other management, overseeing store operations.
• Assess and strategize to drive performance goals such as conversion, units per transaction, sales per hour, and other KPIs.
• Support onboarding of new hires.
• Build relationships and foster a positive, diverse, and inclusive work environment.
• Collaborate with store team and Home Office partners on community events, brand awareness, and engagement.
• Create a compelling store experience by engaging customers and modeling service leadership.
• Serve as a brand ambassador embodying and cultivating the company’s core values.

Requirements

• Progressive retail leadership experience with proven supervising, coaching, and training skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lb and perform duties such as standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, crouching, bending, stooping, talking, hearing, reaching, typing, reaching overhead, and climbing ladders.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Self‑starter with a growth mindset, comfortable learning new tools and adapting to initiatives.
• Collaborative role model who exhibits inclusion and belonging behaviors.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment.

Pay

The hourly pay range is $18.80 – $31.30, subject to experience, qualifications, and applicable minimum wage laws.

Schedule

Full‑time temporary position, August – January. Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
