About the Role

Windwalker Group seeks two Full-Time Supervisors to join our Emerson College operation. The full-time schedule is 36 hours per week, combining weekend and evening shifts. Candidates should have either detailed college operation security experience or supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage visitors at access control points with a combination of utmost courtesy, decisiveness, and professionalism.
• Maintain a resolute professional appearance and demeanor of public-facing employees.
• Validate strict compliance with security standards.
• Emphasize interaction with affinity participants such as local, state police, and DHS.
• Ensure high standards of conduct and zero tolerance for non-professional behavior.
• Implement effective and transparent employee discipline procedures.
• Facilitate high touchpoints between contract employees, client management, and company managers.
• Engage in preparedness planning for effective response to potential crises.
• Provide high-level customer service through daily interaction with students, staff, faculty, and visitors.
• Respond quickly to security breaches and threats.
• Inform personnel and visitors of security procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to react quickly to a changing environment.
• Advanced ability to respond to security breaches and threats.
• Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
• Ability to be flexible and perform a variety of security duties.

Preferred Qualifications

• A minimum of four years’ experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of security systems and surveillance equipment.
• CPR, First Aid, AED, NARCAN, MOAB, or ACT I, II, or III Certifications.
• Associate degree or greater in Criminal Justice or related studies.
• Supervisor experience.
• Experience in documenting observations, customer service, and security procedures.
• Previous concierge experience.

Pay

$25 per hour (starting pay).

Schedule

36 hours per week, combining weekend and evening shifts.
