Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen, NH, invites you to join our dynamic therapy team as a Full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. Offering a $15,000 Sign-on Bonus!

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for residents with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills and enhance overall quality of life for residents.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure coordinated care.
• Document progress in resident records and communicate regularly with families regarding treatment outcomes.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New Hampshire.
• Current CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with cognitive impairments and/or neurological conditions preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency in using speech-language pathology software.

Pay
