About the role

Tennessee State Veterans Home in Cleveland, TN, invites you to join our dynamic therapy team as a Full-time Speech-Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to veterans with a variety of communication disorders.
  • Assess and evaluate patients’ speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for veterans.
  • Document progress notes and maintain accurate records of patient care.

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Tennessee.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Experience working with veterans and/or individuals with communication disorders preferred.

Qualifications

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of speech-language pathology.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
