Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Colorado teaching license or ability to obtain within six months of employment
- Experience working with students with special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements
- Passing background check
- Current First Aid/CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in the classroom
- Provide support to students with special needs
- Help implement lesson plans and activities
- Monitor student behavior and progress
- Collaborate with other staff members to provide a supportive learning environment
Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices
