Full - Time Shop Technician

Responsibilities
- Help keep our company shop and yard clean and organized.
- Receive, inspect, and arrange incoming tools, equipment, and materials.
- Get tools and equipment ready for our field crews, making sure everything is accounted for.
- Clean, maintain, and perform small repairs on tools and equipment.
- Help manage inventory, which includes tracking and restocking supplies.
- Load and unload vehicles with tools, equipment, and materials.
- Use a company vehicle to deliver tools or materials to job sites in the surrounding areas.
- Maintain a safe workspace, both inside and outside the shop.
- Handle other tasks as needed to support our shop and field operations.
- Property maintenance as needed.
- Pull equipment trailer
Requirements
- You must have and maintain an active, valid Driver's License.
- You must be able to handle heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs. regularly, and more with assistance occasionally).
- You must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- You must have reliable attendance and punctuality.
- An electrical background or experience is a plus, but not strictly required.
- You must have basic knowledge of how to maintain tools and equipment (a bonus).
- You must be able to work well on your own and with a team.
- You must have strong communication skills.
Schedule
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Lunch: Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
This job involves a lot of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching. You'll need to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy objects. Much of your work will be outdoors and in varying weather, including hot conditions. Expect exposure to typical shop and construction elements like noise and dust.
