Full-Time Senior Product Design Engineer

About the role

Responsible for designing and developing new industrial pump products, components, and assemblies from conception to commercialization.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles and mathematical modeling to meet technical and commercial specifications.
• Perform risk analysis and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead technical design reviews, DFMEA, and support prototype development and testing.
• Issue technical instructions, specifications, and integrate new products into existing configurations.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure component manufacturability and compliance with regulations.
• Manage projects through the development process, maintain documentation, and report progress.
• Mentor junior engineers and CAD designers, and troubleshoot field issues.
• Support product approvals and ensure technical accuracy in sales literature.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment, hydraulics, FEA, CFD, and CAD software is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
