About the role
The Full-Time Security Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of Empower Field at Mile High, the home stadium of the Denver Broncos. This position involves monitoring surveillance cameras, patrolling the stadium and its surroundings, and handling various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Provide coverage of command center by answering calls, logging activity, monitoring cameras, radio traffic, access control system, checking out keys, and directing rovers.
- Provide inside roving patrol by securing and re-securing doors, identifying and reporting suspicious behavior, and completing incident reports.
- Provide outside roving patrol by securing and re-securing parking lots and stadium gates, identifying and reporting suspicious behavior, and completing incident reports.
- Provide coverage for static posts by checking in visitors, assisting with loading dock activities, and covering event posts as directed.
- Contribute to department team effort by completing other duties and responsibilities as assigned and assisting with administrative tasks.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Valid Colorado driver license
- Prior security experience
- Prior security experience in the sports and entertainment industry
- Prior security training related to surveillance, access control, x-ray, metal detector, and incident report response and documentation
- Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and all Broncos home games
Preferred Skills and Abilities
- 3-months prior experience as a part-time Security Officer at Empower Field at Mile High
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skillset
- Ability to lead and work in a team atmosphere
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain objective and emotionally balanced
- Ability to work with confidential information
- Understanding and use of security radio system, surveillance camera, access control, and drone detection systems
- Ability to operate x-ray and metal detector equipment

The Denver Broncos Football Club and Stadium Management Company offer competitive benefits, including a salary range of $43,000-46,000 per year, in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.

The expected salary range for this position is $43,000-46,000.
Schedule
Flexibility in scheduling is required, including nights, weekends, holidays, and all Broncos home games.
