Full-Time Security Officer

Primary Location: Brentwood, MO

Pay

$20.00/HR

Schedule

• 2300 - 0700 (overnight)
• 0700 - 1500 (first shift)

Officer would work 2 shifts at the Brentwood location and 3 shifts at the Westport location, consisting of 4 overnights and 1 first shift on Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests
• Utilize technology devices throughout shift
• Conduct tours of the property
• Access control duties
• Badge creation
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Above average computer/technology skills needed
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift
• Must have a professional demeanor
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment and use appropriate escalation
• Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
• Open availability preferred
• Must have a strong professional appearance
• Valid driver’s license required
• Driving record must meet company and/or insurance standards
