Full-Time Security Officer (2026 - 2027 School Year)

Performance Responsibilities

• Maintains vigilance in hallways and during instruction times.
• Verifies student passes and oversees restroom areas.
• Collaborates in safety inspections and drills.
• Monitors the building and grounds to ensure safety.
• Greet visitors courteously and direct them appropriately.
• Monitors the premises for unauthorized individuals.
• Reports any unusual conditions or behavior to administrative staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Board.

Physical Demands

• Stand, walk, talk, and hear frequently.
• Squat, stoop, or kneel occasionally.
• Reach above the head and forward.
• Close vision, color perception, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment required.

Terms of Employment

Salary and work year will be determined by the Board.

Evaluation

Performance will be evaluated according to the Board's policy on evaluating support services personnel.
