Full-Time Safety and Security Coordinator, 12-Month
About the role
The successful candidate will have a daily presence across schools, supervising security workers, assisting with incident follow-up and documentation, and providing support for school arrival/dismissal times. They will also assist the Director of District Safety with response to calls.

Qualifications
- MUST currently hold the Civil Service title of Safety & Security Coordinator
- OR Bachelor's degree in Police Science, Criminal Justice or Fire Science, plus one year of experience in a police agency involving work in investigations, as a police officer, military police, or armored vehicle guard
- OR Associate's degree in Police Science, Criminal Justice, or Fire Science plus three years of experience as defined above
- OR five years of experience as defined above
- Must have a clean NYS driver's license
- MUST take the next Civil Service exam for Safety & Security Coordinator and be reachable for appointment from the resulting list
