Full Time Room Attendant - Seasonal

About the role

The room attendant at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and overall presentation of guest rooms, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and providing exceptional service to hotel guests. This is a seasonal position with a tentative end date of September 30th.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest rooms are clean and presentable
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Provide exceptional service to hotel guests

Requirements

• Previous experience as a room attendant or in a similar housekeeping position is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks
• Knowledge of proper handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment

Qualifications

• Required to hold valid US work authorization

Physical requirements

• Constant standing, walking, bending, and twisting
• Able to lift at least 30 lbs
