About the Role

Join a team that has been caring for seniors with heart since 1962. The LTC Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the delivery of resident care in the Long Term Care area. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision, critical thinking, and performance ability in the coordination of resident care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing resident care and assisting others in the management of resident care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver resident care in the Long Term Care area
• Make clinical judgments effectively and efficiently with supervision
• Demonstrate critical thinking and performance ability in coordinating resident care
• Perform according to nursing standards
• Manage resident care and assist others in the management of resident care

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a valid SD State licensure as an RN or LPN
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required
• Ability to demonstrate self-confidence and a positive attitude toward self and others
• Maintain commitment and enthusiasm to achieve goals
• Excellent team player and communication skills
