Overview:
Preferred Therapy Outpatient & Wellness is seeking a full-time telehealth Physical Therapist to serve seniors in Maine. Candidates must have an active Maine PT license.
About the Role
Provide virtual physical therapy services to residents of assisted living facilities, independent living communities, and senior living campuses. Supervise, mentor, and guide PTAs to ensure excellent patient outcomes. Assist with daily operational workflow.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality virtual physical therapy services to seniors in Maine
- Supervise and mentor PTAs to support excellent patient outcomes
- Assist with daily operational workflow
- Serve as a clinical resource for PTAs
Requirements
- Current Physical Therapist license in the State of Maine
- Strong leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
- Experience working with geriatric populations preferred
- Prior telehealth experience preferred
- Credentialing with Maine insurance payers preferred
Qualifications
- Full-time REHAB DIRECTOR / Speech Language Pathologist position available in the sub-acute/skilled nursing Rehab Department
- Ensure efficient and effective operations
- Plan and implement rehabilitation programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data
- Provide administrative rehabilitation supervision
- Serve as a rehabilitation staff mentor
- Provide speech therapy services as needed
- Be a licensed speech therapist or license eligible in the state where employed
- Have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting
