Full-Time Registered Nurse

Role Overview The Head Nurse oversees patient care, staff management, and daily operations within a specific nursing department or unit. They utilize the nursing process to make critical decisions, partnering with patients and families to promote health, autonomy, and dignity. The role involves providing clinical leadership, ensuring continuity of care in alignment with hospital policies and goals, and collaborating with leadership to drive improvements. Key Responsibilities Interpret and review diagnostic data relevant to patient conditions.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and implement department improvements.Guide staff during life-threatening situations and evaluate intervention outcomes.Implement innovative processes to enhance patient outcomes.Participate in clinical leadership activities such as coaching, hiring, performance evaluations, staffing, and productivity management.Support initiatives to improve healthcare delivery and promote lifelong learning.Communicate effectively with team members to ensure quality patient care.Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting or specialty area.RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS preferred.Computer literacy required; additional skills are desired.
