Full-Time Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician – South Jersey

About the role

Virtua Medical Group is seeking a skilled Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician to join their growing pulmonary and critical care practice. The position offers a blend of outpatient pulmonary medicine, inpatient pulmonary consults, and critical care coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions, including lung diseases, sleep disorders, and breathing difficulties.
• Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, APPs, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary specialists to deliver coordinated care using evidence-based medicine and advanced treatment options.

Requirements

• Fellowship-trained in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine
• Board-certified in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine
• Current NJ Medical License
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings preferred
• Strong clinical skills and ability to manage complex cases
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Pay

This role offers a base starting salary at $319,800.00. Final compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and prevailing market factors.

Schedule

Standard hours are 40 per week.
