Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician
About the role
Oswego Health is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician to join their new Medical Practice service line. This role involves a mix of inpatient and outpatient work, collaborating with the Hospitalist team and ICU Telemedicine Services. The physician will consult on and manage critical patients in the ICU and see patients in an outpatient clinic/PFT lab.
Responsibilities

- Consult on and manage critical patients in the ICU
- See patients in an outpatient clinic/PFT lab
Requirements
- Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings preferred
- Excellent communication skills
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Current New York State Medical License
- Passing scores on the USMLE or COMLEX exams
Skills
- Strong clinical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
