About the role
Oversee production, operations, and site facilities, working closely with batch personnel and drivers.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety, environmental compliance, and safety training
- Manage budgets and control costs
- Develop production plans and analyze productivity data
- Supervise equipment, personnel, and quality assurance
- Maintain OSHA and DOT regulations and safety standards
- Build positive community relationships and manage personnel development
- Generate reports and oversee maintenance and safety procedures
- Implement process improvements to enhance performance and reduce costs
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in ready-mix operations, personnel management, and regulatory compliance
- Relevant education in engineering or management certifications (preferred)
- Leadership, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
- Experience with ERP systems like SAP and proficiency in Microsoft Office (advantageous)
- Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and DOT regulations (essential)
