About the role
Riser Fitness is seeking a full-time Pilates Instructor to join their team. Positions are available at multiple locations offering competitive compensation ranging from $40.00 to $65.00 per class, depending on experience. This role is part of a nationally recognized brand, Club Pilates, which operates over 1000 locations across the U.S. and globally.
Responsibilities
- Teach group classes and private/semi-private sessions using a variety of Pilates equipment including Mat, Reformer, Chair, Springboard, Cadillac, TRX, Magic Circle, and others.
- Ensure safety and creativity in each class while providing modifications and progressions for clients with injuries or limitations.
- Stay updated with Club Pilates education standards and implement them in all classes.
- Create and deliver class plans that meet Club Pilates standards for safety, effectiveness, and challenge.
- Provide Pilates instruction as scheduled, including Intro classes and group apparatus classes.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 200-450 hour comprehensive Pilates education, including Mat and Reformer training.
- Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises.
- Pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrated group Reformer instruction abilities.
- Professional and effective communication skills.
- Willingness to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry, particularly Pilates.
- Passion for learning and willingness to attend continued education trainings and seminars.
- Punctual and reliable.
