FULL TIME Pilates Instructor

About the role

Riser Fitness is seeking a Pilates Instructor for their San Leandro location. Positions are full-time with potential earnings ranging from $40.00 to $65.00 per class or more depending on experience. This role is part of the Club Pilates franchise system, which operates over 100 locations and offers millions of workouts annually.

Responsibilities

• Teach group classes and private/semi-private sessions in state-of-the-art studios equipped with Balanced Body equipment.
• Earn competitive pay with flexible hours including block shifts, private training, and subbing opportunities.
• Ensure safe and creative group experiences by using a variety of Pilates equipment, including Mat, Reformer, Chair, Springboard, Cadillac, TRX, Magic Circle, and other equipment.
• Provide modifications and progressions for clients with injuries or limitations, demonstrating anatomical knowledge and safety.
• Develop and implement class plans that meet Club Pilates standards for safety, effectiveness, and challenge.
• Teach Intro classes, group apparatus classes, and private/semi-private training as scheduled.
• Stay updated with Club Pilates education standards and continue professional development through continuing education trainings and seminars.

Qualifications

• Minimum 200-450 hour comprehensive Pilates education, including Mat and Reformer training.
• Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises and possess a pleasant demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrated group Reformer instruction abilities and professional, effective communication skills.
• Willingness to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry, particularly in Pilates.
• Passion for learning and attending continued education trainings and seminars.
• Punctual and reliable.
