About the role
Riser Fitness is seeking a Pilates Instructor for their Eden Prairie location. Positions are full-time with potential earnings ranging from $40.00 to $65.00 per class, depending on experience. This role is part of a team of over 100 locations, making Riser Fitness one of the longest operating franchisees in the country.
Responsibilities
- Teach group classes and private/semi-private sessions in state-of-the-art studios equipped with Balanced Body equipment
- Ensure safe and creative group experiences through proper and safe use of various Pilates equipment (Mat, Reformer, Chair, Springboard, Cadillac, TRX, Magic Circle)
- Provide modifications and progressions for clients with injuries or limitations
- Stay updated with and implement Club Pilates education standards
- Create and deliver safe, effective, and challenging Pilates class plans
- Offer Pilates instruction including Intro classes, group apparatus classes, private and semi-private training as scheduled
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Comprehensive Pilates education (200-450+ hours) with minimum training in Mat and Reformer
- Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises
- Pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated group Reformer instruction abilities
- Professional and effective communication skills
- Willingness to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry, particularly Pilates
- Passion for learning and attending continued education trainings and seminars
- Punctual and reliable
