FULL TIME Pilates Instructor

About the role

Riser Fitness is seeking a full-time Pilates Instructor to join their team. Positions are available at Minnetonka West and offer a range of pay depending on experience, with options for negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Teach group classes and private/semi-private sessions using a variety of Pilates equipment including Mat, Reformer, Chair, Springboard, Cadillac, TRX, Magic Circle, and others.
• Ensure safe and creative group experiences by demonstrating proper use of equipment and providing modifications and progressions for clients with injuries or limitations.
• Stay current with Club Pilates education standards and develop class plans that meet these standards.
• Create and deliver Pilates instruction for Intro classes, group apparatus classes, and private/semi-private training sessions as scheduled.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 200-450 hour comprehensive Pilates education, including Mat and Reformer training.
• Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises.
• Pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrated group Reformer instruction abilities.
• Professional and effective communication skills.
• Willingness to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry, specifically Pilates.
• Passion for learning and willingness to attend continued education trainings and seminars.
• Punctual and reliable.
